Mission
We are committed to strengthening families and individuals in crisis by providing compassionate support, meeting basic needs, and creating pathways to self-sufficiency. We offer emergency assistance, affordable housing programs, and community outreach to serve vulnerable populations in North Brevard County with dignity and respect.
Our mission is to provide hope and help — empowering individuals to overcome hardships and rebuild stable, healthy lives.
History
We've been a vital part of our community since 1958. We were founded to serve a growing need in our community for services that met basic needs like housing, food, clothing, and medical care. We've continued to grow with the help of our generous donors, partners, and volunteers. Today we also offer on-the-job training and self-sufficiency programs to empower people experiencing hardship to achieve stability and independence.
4,941 children in North Brevard County live in poverty today. Most lack secure housing and the guarantee of 3 meals a day. Some are homeless. We support these families so they can transition successfully from survival to self-sufficiency.
We work every day for the future of our community, one where all residents have a place to call home and the support they need to dream and achieve their goals.
